My bike frame was back ordered all the way back to June! However the owner of my local bike shop, being a bro, is going to order an Allez Expert, strip the parts and sell them seperately and sell me the frame for the price of the other one! So I get a slightly better bike frame (It's the same frame as the S-Works Allez without the S-Works fork) for the same price and it'll be here around next wednesday! I'm so Excited!
By the way, the bike pictured above is what the frame will look like!

I take it that it's all carbon, or is it still aluminum? That frame looks nice. Makes me wish I could throw more money into my bike fund to get a better bike for this summer.

It's high end aluminum which I prefer to low end carbon. However the fork and the seatpost are carbon!

the Allez Smartweld is a very well sorted out chasis! But I picked it mainly because it rode like the Tarmac Expert with few diffrences to me. I also wanted just a frame (since I want to put Campagnolo on it) and bike frames in carbon start around the $2000 range. Also the frame I'm getting only weighs 950 grams (minus fork). Overall it was a good value for me and it fit my needs.

not bad. i rode a ally tht i borrowed once, but my first roadie was a devinci CX3 tht was a full carbom frame. got the frame and everything used (i have like Durace, ultergra and 105 parts from 3 different gens of parts XD) but it works!
